Who are we?

Morgannwg Caving Club was formed in 1984 to foster caving in the area. The club exists not to hold organised meets, but to encourage cavers to get together at a regular meeting place so that they can better arrange their own trips. Newcomers to the sport are welcome to come along and see if there is a trip that they can join, but we don't offer formal training. The club is a member of the Cambrian Caving Council.

Meeting up

Morgannwg members and friends have met every Wednesday night in the Cardiff area since the club began, bar occasions when everyone is otherwise away. The current venue is the Earl Haig in Whitchurch. Generally, people arrive from around 9.15pm onwards. All are welcome.

Make contact

If you would like to meet us, come along on a Wednesday evening. You are welcome to simply turn up and say hello (whether you are a local resident or a visiting caver in the area for a short time), but before making a special trip it's best to check where and when a meeting is being held. We occasionally have weeks with no meeting, when too many of us are away or otherwise busy, or have a communal outing. Drop us an e-mail: .
